Meet the Founder
Walking the path of purpose, whether consciously or unconsciously, is never a path of roses and light and will always be fraught with challenges and obstacles to steer you away.
Jason Critchell´s life journey so far has been just that. But his story is one of true inspiration to see what can be achieved if you stay on course, true to yourself and beliefs when you let go of the shore and trust.
Born the son of a builder, Jason spent his youth working with his father on building sites during his school holidays. Learning the trade that would be the foundation of a skill he could turn his hand to for the rest of his life, always providing an income although not satisfying his soul.
After a rebellious and troubled childhood, never fitting, he left school with little education at 16 yrs old and was thrown abruptly into the World that he saw held no future. And so ensued a period of self destructive ways and traumatic family problems that forced him to leave home at 17 yrs and end up squatting in the suburbs of London. Here he would encounter the wrong crowd and see a period where he was shop lifting and abusing drugs. Until he was rescued by his father and moved back to the family home. But not for long as his relationship with his step mother continued to spiral downwards. No longer able to cope, Jason, moved to Cornwall to live with his mother. This was where a connection to nature, the land and magic happened and his realising that there is another world out there, unseen but felt in his very soul.
But his youthful need was unsatisfied and he returned to London, working as a painter and decorator and to a life of squatting again. Here he would develope a love of music and drugs. The two places he would find his escape from the world he despised, that had no hope and no future.
In that troubled time for Jason he discovered the primal shamanic in the music he loved and moved into the music scene, becoming a DJ. And producer. He went through many genre´s of music style over the next 33 yrs, as he took people on a journey and saw magic happen through the sound of
music and the electro magnetism and crystal of the equipment. A journey he still enjoys creating to this day in his production studio and sound healing gong baths.
Jason continued to walk his path unconsciously until he spent 6 weeks in Paisley, Scotland, staying with a friend. Where he learnt esoteric wisdom and that he truly did have a purpose in life.
But he was to first go through a marriage that ended in divorce before he would meet a lady who would change his life and direct him on to his spiritual path as he helped her through her battle with cancer and her final transition into death. His final promise to her being that he would continue to all she had taught him about spirituality and thus began his journey of awakening and reconnecting and finally finding the life he had been searching for, one of passion, purpose and hope for a better future for all beings.
It was upon the death of his father, whom he also helped to transition, that with the inheritance money, Jason could enrol in a gong masters course, open the beautiful Alpha Mundo Temple and purchase the powerful gongs that he skilfully plays to take you on a journey of healing, balance and reconnection.
